I worked with Susan to purchase a home in 2010. Susan was great at focusing on what I was looking for in a home and did a fantastic job of weeding out properties that she knew wouldn't suit me. This saved a lot of time for both of us. Purchasing a home is very stressful and Susan's no-pressure  style made it an enjoyable experience. She really tries to find the right property for "You". This was my fifth home purchase. I would definitely recommend Susan because she doesn't just find you a house, she finds you a home.

We have truly enjoyed working with Susan. We first met Susan in 2002 when we were planning our move into the Olney area and she helped us find and purchase our current home in Brookeville. She is very knowledgeable of the Olney/Brookeville area. Through the years we have kept in touch and she  has even shown us a few homes when we were thinking of moving again within the area. We are again in the process of getting our home ready for sale and deciding where to go. She is very patient and helpful in finding the right home for our family and always there to answer any questions or give advice on a home or area. We really enjoy working with her and always recommend her to family and friends! She is wonderful to work with! 

We had seen Susan's signs around the area. Two real estate professionals, one of whom was a competitor who had been soliciting our listing for two years, told us she was the best in the area. We contacted her and her responsiveness was immediate and highly professional. Her pricing of our  property reflected her thorough knowledge of the local market and her presentation of the property was outstanding. The property sold in what we considered to be record time and at a most satisfactory price.

We interviewed several real estate agents before we put our house on the market. We chose Susan as our listing agent, despite working with another agent first, because she was professional, upbeat and positive when presenting to us how she would sell our house. She wanted to get in there and take  pictures within a few days of signing the contract as our agent. The pictures in the brochure depicted the assets our house had almost better than seeing it in person. We had an open house within a week and a contract the next week. We also bought our new house using Susan as our buying agent. The process is usually rather stressful, but Susan had us relaxed at every stage with her light humor and friendly, professional nature. The process was seamless. I have recommended Susan to friends and anyone else I know who is looking to buy a house.

Her professionalism, practicality and level-headedness were absolutely essential in closing our deals. She was promptly responsive to calls, and no question or  concern was out of bounds. Susan not only helped us sell our house in less than a week, but she also helped us find the a house at a great price in the neighborhood we wanted that we live in today! She is extremely knowledgable of the Olney area.

Susan found our dream home even with all our picky criteria and sold our old home without a hitch and very quickly. We loved Susan from the start! It didn't take us 10 minutes to know she was the realtor we wanted to work with. She had seen many of the homes we were interested in and was  able to guide us in the right direction and the right neighborhood for our family dynamic. She new all about the local schools which came in very handy!

We put a contract on a home within 5 days of meeting Susan (which was very unexpected) but she was by our side the entire way! We had to juggle a lot in a short amount of time but Susan always made herself accessible to answer any questions and deal with any last minute details. She also worked well with the seller's' agent. All around consummate professional. By the end, she really did feel like part of our family. We love our home, but more importantly we love the stress-free process of buying our home and a lot of that is because of Susan. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a realtor.

Susan Ellis is simply the best agent in the Olney area. We were with another agent at first and after a couple of bad appointments we went after the best, and we got her! Susan made us feel like we were her only clients even though we knew she had a full load. As first-time home buyers, we needed  someone who could explain the process to us in terms we understood. We asked Susan to list our single family home in Olney (Norbeck Hills) in Spring of 2013 due to a glowing recommendation from some friends. She had outstanding knowledge of the neighborhood and the market, and developed an excellent marketing strategy and pricing strategy (aggressive, which we  greatly appreciated). As a result of her guidance, we had excellent traffic and had a lot of interest, with a bid coming within 30 days of listing. What we really appreciated most was her responsiveness, and navigating us through the entire sales process when the buying agent and buyers were frankly not very responsiveness or apparently as knowledgeable as Susan. You will not be disappointed by listing your home with her.

Susan spent over a year helping us sell our previous house and buying our new one. She patiently showed us listings sometimes 2 or 3 tines. We had very specific needs and there was never any pressure to settle. Susan walked us through both processes and was available day or night to solve any  issue or just to answer a question. She really became part of the family and we still talk whether it is to just catch up or to get a recommendation for a service provider. We cannot recommend her enough and if you work with her, we know you will feel the same after you buy or sell a house with her.

We interviewed 3 local realtors and Susan was spot on with what we should list the house for. The price, which was higher than the other two realtors recommended was a sign that she knew exactly what similar houses sold for in the Olney- Brookeville area. Her fees were less than the other realtors as well. With her expertise, we had 3 offers in 3 days and sold the house over asking price. She was prompt in returning calls and follow up. Susan was excellent. She negotiated a lower price with the builder because we had a cash offer. She was very helpful discussing builder options. She found us a very good inspector who found some glitches that the builder addressed.

And she made the process fun! We had a long-distance build/ move that made it somewhat more stressful, but it all worked well with her help.
