Susan and Tracy were the ultimate team and allowed us to buy our dream maybe “forever” home. We were moving from out of state to an extremely difficult and challenging market with limited supply for our needs. They were extremely knowledgeable about the area and after a few home visits knew exactly what we were looking for without being pushy. They guided us and educated us as first home buyers without just rushing to a deal (which for sure could have happened months earlier for a home we were not ready for). It was an 8 mo process and they were supportive the entire way. We were even international for a large part of the closing process and were able to essentially close remotely. From the beginning all the way to the closing day, you could see their experience shine through as compared to novice realtors. Living for 33 years in Olney, MD, I recall many Realtor Signs posted throughout various neighborhoods. The one that always got my attention was Susan Ellis. Susan spent over a year helping us sell our previous house and buying our new one. She patiently showed us listings sometimes 2 or 3 tines. We had very specific needs and there was never any pressure to settle. Susan walked us through both processes and was available day or night to solve any  issue or just to answer a question. She really became part of the family and we still talk whether it is to just catch up or to get a recommendation for a service provider. We cannot recommend her enough and if you work with her, we know you will feel the same after you buy or sell a house with her. 

Tracy was excellent in helping me navigate through the purchase of my new home. We had an excellent experience working with Susan & Tracy. The market at the time of our search was & still is incredibly challenging for buyers--especially first time buyers. Tracy was incredibly flexible to meet with us as soon as we saw a house coming on the market and she was very knowledgeable/helpful. I met Susan in 2018 when she helped me sell my home. She was very professional, highly experienced, and she made the process stress-free. My home was sold within 3 weeks. I worked with Susan to purchase a home in 2010. Susan was great at focusing on what I was looking for in a home and did a fantastic job of weeding out properties that she knew wouldn't suit me. This saved a lot of time for both of us. Purchasing a home is very stressful and Susan's no-pressure  style made it an enjoyable experience. She really tries to find the right property for "You". Susan Ellis has sold two houses for me. Both times we were extremely happy with her knowledge, expertise, and ease of explaining the process. She gave us some very good advice about what to do to make the houses show nicely. Her sales flyers came out very professional and made the home look as  nice as possible. Both homes sold in about a month! I would highly recommend her!

Susan was excellent. She negotiated a lower price with the builder because we had a cash offer. She was very helpful discussing builder options. She found us a very good inspector who found some glitches that the builder addressed.

And she made the process fun! We had a long-distance build/ move that made it somewhat more stressful, but it all worked well with her help.

I cannot say enough good things about working with Susan both as a Buyer's agent and a seller's agent. We have truly enjoyed working with Susan. We first met Susan in 2002 when we were planning our move into the Olney area and she helped us find and purchase our current home in Brookeville. She is very knowledgeable of the Olney/Brookeville area. Through the years we have kept in touch and she  has even shown us a few homes when we were thinking of moving again within the area. We are again in the process of getting our home ready for sale and deciding where to go. We interviewed several real estate agents before we put our house on the market. We chose Susan as our listing agent, despite working with another agent first, because she was professional, upbeat and positive when presenting to us how she would sell our house. She wanted to get in there and take  pictures within a few days of signing the contract as our agent. The pictures in the brochure depicted the assets our house had almost better than seeing it in person. We had an open house within a week and a contract the next week. We also bought our new house using Susan as our buying agent. The process is usually rather stressful, but Susan had us relaxed at every stage with her light humor and friendly, professional nature. The process was seamless. I have recommended Susan to friends and anyone else I know who is looking to buy a house.
